Craft Fair Baskets, Madrigal Dinner and Yale Whiffenpoofs

Good morning MCHS Choir families.

CRAFT FAIR BASKETS
There are currently 34 students/families, some who have doubled up on baskets themes/cash, out of the almost 100 students; who have donated so far.  We really need more participation in the effort to getting more basket items, etc. for our amazing Basket Raffle for that part of the Craft Fair to be successful.
Lana Pursell (lanapursell@sbcglobal.net and I (vanessa1972@me.com) can be contacted.
We would like all donations by the concert on Oct. 5. so we can get started on assembling the baskets. People probably don't realize that putting together these baskets takes time, so getting them turned in now is very important so they are ready by the Craft Fair weekend.

Thanks,
Vanessa Holloway

YALE WHIFFENPOOFS-FRI. OCT. 13 7PM   PAC Central Campus
I have attached a poster promoting the premier Yale A' Capella Group, the Whiffenpoofs, featuring our own 2014 MCHS graduate, John Kauffman.
Founded back in 1909 at Mory’s Temple Bar in New Haven, CT, the Whiffenpoofs are the oldest college a cappella group in the nation and one of the most well-known still today.  Each year the group is comprised of Yale’s top 14 male senior singers, who take a year off from school to tour the US and 30+ countries, often singing for heads of state and entertainment icons around the world.  In the past they have been featured on Saturday Night LiveGlee!, NBC’s The Sing-OffThe West WingThe Today ShowGilmore Girls, and most recently an episode of The Simpsons (we’re also in talks to make a guest appearance on Steven Colbert’s show in the coming months, fingers crossed!).
Please consider attending this concert on Fri. Oct. 13th at 7pm in the PAC.  Cost is online (www.whiffenpoofs.com) for $15 for adults and $10 for students or $20 at the door for Adults and $10 for students.  Please share this attached flyers with friends and family. We would love to pack the house!
Thanks so much!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Randy Benware
